Unforgettable Moments at Elephant Sanctuary Koh Lanta
If you are on Koh Lanta and seeking a heartwarming and responsible elephant encounter, Following Giants' Elephant Sanctuary is the ideal destination. Our sanctuary, set across 45 acres, provides a peaceful haven for our ten rescued elephants, allowing them to live happily in a stress-free environment.
Your visit to our sanctuary will include insightful observations of the elephants as they go about their daily, natural activities. Witness their heartwarming playful behaviour, observe their individual personalities, and capture precious moments of their tranquil existence that will stay with you forever.
Our Koh Lanta sanctuary is set on a mountainside, with winding and some steep paths. We are home to both female and bull elephants and their well-being and the safety of our guests is paramount. Therefore, our dedicated mahouts are closer to the elephants they care for. Unlike in Krabi, many of our Lanta elephants prefer the company of their mahout as opposed to other elephants, offering a different observation experience.
